As a freelancer, I fill a multitude of different roles for my clients. Graphic Designer, Web Designer, Front-End Developer, Back-End Developer, Database Manager, Flash Developer. While I do enjoy working with a team to make completing projects easier, I am fully capable of handling the entire workload for most any print or web based project. - Nov 2010 - Aug 2011Web Content Associate / W.W. GraingerThis was a two month contract which turned into an endless offer to stay on. I was primarily brought on to help create new shopping pages which are designed to help customers easily find products which fit they are looking for. My secondary role was as one of our email designer/developers. While I was familiar with creating emails before I started this contract, I reached expert understanding while immersed with creating them.
Throughout my stint at Grainger, I took on more responsibility such as cleaning up old product images, static pages and email templates, as well as assisting team members with CSS and Javascript development.
Skills used: Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery - Apr 2005 - Nov 2007Graphic Designer / Broadjam Inc.I provided Broadjam with all of their graphic needs. This ranged from web based images (such as: website templates, web ads and banners, landing page designs, buttons, icons, etc.) to print designs (fliers, magazine ads, sales sheets, t-shirt designs, shareholder report, etc.) as well as creating some larger Flash applications including BroadjamTV and assisting with the Broadjam audio player.
